The library in the Chamber office provides a wide
range of directories database covering wide aspects of trade and commerce,
industries, investments and government contacts in Singapore.
As a SCC Corporate member, you will / can:
- Receive a full corporate listing in the annual
Members' Directory of the Chamber;
- Be invited to hold seminars and conference presentations
arranged by SCC;

- in the biweekly SCC Flyer which is faxed out to all members, some
600 VIP guests of the Chamber, around 50 press and media representatives
in Hong Kong and Singapore and the nominees of other local and foreign
chambers in Hong Kong and Singapore.

SCC's leaders and senior executives in the region including all

Promotional Services available to SCC Members
Trade Referrals
The Chamber regularly receives trade enquiries in person, over the
phone and through the internet. Enquiries are usually referred to
members whenever and whichever appropriate.
The Chamber library collects and houses business information under
4 major categories---PRC, HK, Singapore and Members. All materials
are open to the public and prove to be very useful references to trade
enquiries either in person or through the electronic media.
Promotion of Services and Products in Weekly
Flyer
The Chamber circulates a Weekly Flyer to about 1200 readers informing
them of upcoming events, news from Singapore and members' services.
As a free service to members, the Weekly Flyer is well used by members
to promote their services and products such as concessional airfare,
hotel package, IDD calls, internet services etc.
Inter-chamber Luncheon for Business Networking
Opportunities for business networking are provided through our monthly
inter-chamber luncheons with other international chambers in HK. The
aim is to provide opportunities for Chamber members to meet and network
with the businessmen of other nationalities.
Business Promotion in Monthly Happy Hour
The Chamber hosts a monthly Happy Hour on every third Tuesday of the
month at the Lobby Bar, Marriott Hotel from 6 p.m. onwards. Members
and guests are welcome to join this function during which they can
mingle and exchange business information in an informal setting. If
required, a special theme can be set for specific Happy Hour function
for business promotion purpose, for instance "A Happy Hour on
Internet Services".
Seminar, Workshop and Exhibition
The Chamber offers its services as an event organizer for seminar,
workshop and exhibition at a very reasonable rate. IT seminars and
legal workshops have proven to be very popular and successful in the
past.
Trade Mission and Meeting with Government
Officials
The Chamber organizes trade missions to the PRC and Singapore to promote
the business interests of members. Industry-specific mission can also
be organized if required. Meetings with senior HKSAR and Singaporean
officials or business establishment will also be arranged upon request.
Advertisement in SCC News
The SCC News is an official publication of the Chamber which is published
4 times a year.
It has a normal circulation of 1,000--1,500 and is distributed to:
- SCC members/Visitors to SCC/VIPs the SCC will meet
in overseas missions
- Consulate-Generals or diplomatic commissions in
Hong Kong
- Senior HK, PRC, Singapore and ASEAN government
officials
- Eminent Hong Kong business leaders and corporations
- Relevant government and statutory bodies in HK,
Singapore and the PRC
- Business associates of the SCC throughout the Asia
Pacific region and China
- Nikko Hotel, Marriott Hotel, Shangri-la Hotel,
and all Sino Group hotels such Conrad Hotel, Gold Coast Hotel etc.

Members are welcome to place advertisements (4-color
full page) in the SCC News at a membership rate of HK$3,000 per issue
or HK$10,000 for 4 issues (HK$4,000 or HK$14,000 for non-member).
Advertisements on back cover, inside front and inside back covers
are booked for the whole year. Advertisement in the centre pages is
still available.
Insertion in SCC News
If the printed material about is about one A4 paper in size and weight
and the inclusion of which does not incur additional postage to our
mailing of the SCC News, it will be HK$2,000 per issue. If additional
postage is incurred, it will be absorbed by the advertiser.
Special Direct Mailing
Special direct mailing to our members and other recipients in our
database can be arranged at any time. In this case, there is no restriction
on size and weight, administrative cost will be HK$2,000 plus postage
for members and HK$3,000 plus postage for non-members.
Promotion of Corporate Profile
Every new member of the Chamber will be invited to provide a write-up
on its company profile, development plan as well as its services and
products for publication in the SCC News. The article is around 400
- 500 words (in English or Chinese with photos or graphics if deem
fit) and will be published in the "Member's Profile" column
of the SCC News.
Soft-selling through Contributed Article
Members are always welcome to contribute article to the SCC News on
industry-specific issue. Such article is a good soft-selling tool
to promote the corporate image and profile of the contributors.
