Founder Member
Founder Members are for individuals or corporations who provide the fundamental seed capital through a one-time contribution of not less than HK$150,000. It is a distinction, rightly given, to those who contribute to the Chamber the much-needed financial support at its inception. Founder Members are admitted by invitation at the sole discretion of the Executive committee.

Life Member

1. Any companies, organizations or individual persons above the age of 21 years may apply or be invited by the Chamber to become Life Members.
2. Individual Life Members shall be for life unless terminated in accordance with the Articles of the Chamber and shall be entitled to all amenities and privileges of Members.
3. Corporate Life Members shall have the right to nominate one Member's Representative to the Chamber by notice in writing given to the Secretary. Any Member's Representative, if approved by the Chamber, shall have all rights and privileges of Members subject nevertheless to the Articles, rules and regulations of the Chamber then in force. Any obligations imposed on a Life Member shall be deemed to have been imposed in like manner on the Member's Representative.
4. A Corporate Life Member shall be entitled to nominate Additional Member's Representatives subject to the approval of the Chamber. Additional Member's Representatives shall be entitled to all amenities and privileges of Members but shall not be entitled to attend Committee or general meetings or vote thereat or be eligible to serve on the Committee or any sub-committees of the Chamber unless the Committee otherwise decides. Additional Member's Representatives are subject to the applicable rules and regulations of the Chamber and are required to pay an annual subscription as the Committee shall decide.
5. Individual Life Members shall be required to make a contribution of not less than HK$50,000.00 but shall be exempted from paying entrance fee and annual subscription.
6. Corporate Life Members shall be required to make a contribution of not less than HK$75,000.00 but shall be exempted from paying entrance fee and annual subscription.

Corporate Member
Company, partnership, sole-proprietorship, etc., who is either:-

• A Singapore company with business presence/interests in Hong Kong and/or China;
• Incorporated or resident in Hong Kong with business presence/interests in Singapore and/or China or
• Other nationality who has business presence/interests in Singapore, Hong Kong and/or China.

Individual Member
Any individual who is either:

• A Singaporean based in Hong Kong or China;
• A Hong Kong citizen based in Singapore or China or
• Any other nationality based in Singapore, Hong Kong or China.

# Joint SCC-SA Individual Membership Scheme - temporarily suspended
To foster closer relationship and solidarity amongst members of the Singapore Chamber and Singapore Association, a joint SCC-SA membership scheme is offered to:
(1)   Current SA Members who are NOT SCC Members
They can now join the SCC as Individual Members at HK$2,500 instead of $3,000
(Discount of HK$500 joining fee; HK$2,000 annual fee still applies from. 2nd year onwards).

(2)   Current SCC Members who are NOT SA Members
They can now join the SA as Individual Members at $400 instead of $500
(Discount of HK$100 in the first year; HK$300 annual fee still applies from 2nd year onwards).

(3)   New Members
They can join both SCC & SA as Individual Member for HK$3,000 in the first year
(Annual fees of HK$2,000 to SCC and HK$300 to SA applies from 2nd year onwards).

Associate Member
It was resolved that pursuant to Article 3(c)(v) of the Chamber's Articles of Association, there may upon invitation of the Chamber become Associate Members as follows:-

1. Any chambers, bodies, associations and organizations sharing similar objects and interests may upon invitation of the Chamber become Associate Members.
2. Associate Members shall be entitled to all amenities and privileges of Members but shall not be entitled to attend meetings or vote or be eligible to serve on the Committee or any sub-committees of the Chamber unless the Committee otherwise decides.
3. Associate Members are not required to pay any entrance fee or subscription.
4. Associate membership is subject to such rules and regulations as the Committee shall make from time to time and can be terminated as the absolute discretion of the Committee.
