The development of the Greater PRD, including HK and Macau during the past 25 years has been remarkable by any standard. With an area just over 42,800 sq km and a total population of 48m, the GPRD has become one of the most affluent and fastest growing regions in China and an enormously attractive market. HK plays a 'distinct role' as a place for non-HK firms to access the strengths of the GPRD. However, although there is a great deal of knowledge regarding various aspects of the GPRD, most of it is not compiled or updated in a format that is useful to investors. Join noted academic and author Prof. Michael Enright as he discusses the main findings of the latest edition of the InvestHK published report The Greater Pearl River Delta. Prof Enright will discuss the implications and opportunities for companies interested in launching or expanding their investments in the GPRD. This fifth and latest edition of the report, written by Michael Enright and Edith Scott and published by InvestHK provides overall information on the region, including relevant and credible facts and figures about the economies of the major cities in the region.
