the vineyard:
They
have very beautiful wine which is easily to drink and filled
with many flavours.
The white's & the reds are beautifully made. The owners
are involved in preserving the Bushland; he has kept an area
for nature walks, a salt water trout farm; sheep and cattle
business. Wonderful people.

Awards & 2002 Cowra Wine Show
A Cabernet rich blend, this wine has an excellent Cabernet
nose, spicy with red berry and red cherry aromas. The
balanced palate has red berry fruit flavours integrated
subtly with dusty French Oak. Traditionally fermented in
open fermenters before being transferred to French Oak
barriques (25% of which were new) for 15 months prior to
bottling.

This
smooth blend has an excellent Cabernet nose showing cedar,
vanilla, blackcurrant and blackberry aromas. The palate is
rich, soft and full with blackberry and currant fruit
flavours with a chocolate, vanillian oak finish. Cellaring
potential is up to 7 years.

An elegant wine combining citrus, melon and subtle spice
aromas that are balanced by a lemon and melon palate with a
clean, fresh finish. Barrel fermented in French Oak (30% of
which were new, predominantly Allies) for 6 months with less
stirring regularly for added complexity.

A straw coloured fine and rich wine with a soft lemon
bouquet. The palate is full with lemon and citrus zest
flavours, followed by an extended long dry finish. An
interesting wine that will age well.

Blanc Semillon, 2002
This
wine is a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon. The
wine exhibits gooseberry, tropical fruit and ripe passion
fruit aromas. The palate shows the Sauvignon Blanc
dominance, elegant with lemon, tropical fruits and
gooseberry flavours which lead to a clean, dry finish.
